It is an admitted position that the petitioner was recruited as a Senior Technical Assistant at Bose Institute at Kolkata along with other aspirants. Some irregularities in the recruitment process were found in respect of the post of Senior Laboratory Assistant for which service of the petitioner was also not confirmed.

It has been submitted by the Bose Institute today that insofar as the appointment of the petitioner is concerned, there were no irregularities in the recruitment process and as such the service of the petitioner may be confirmed.

In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Bose Institute to confirm the service of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 27501 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
