(DB) 4571 of 2022 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Serampore Police Station Case No. 424 of 2012 dated 17.11.2012 under Sections 326/307/34/302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 9(b)(ii) of the Indian Explosives Act and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act.

Heard the learned Advocates appearing for both the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is involved in the offence of murder. He had absconded for more than a decade.

Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
