Petitioners are directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Ms. Sayanti Santra, learned advocate who usually appears on behalf of the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities in due course.

The grievance of the petitioners is that their application under Section 227/239 of the Code of Criminal Procedure till date has not been disposed of although the same was filed on 31st May, 2019. . Learned advocate further submits that the next has been fixed on 20th December, 2023 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd court, Krishnanagar, Nadia.

In view of the long pendency of the application, I direct the learned Magistrate to allow amendment in the nomenclature of the petition so filed and conclude the hearing if not possible on 20th December, 2023, preferably by 28th February, 2024. Needless to state, I have not gone into the merits of the application which is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd court Krishnanagar, Nadia and the learned court would dispose of the same in accordance with law. .

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4707 of 2023 is disposed of.
