Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly situated as other accused persons who have been granted bail in CRM(M) 2349 of 2025 and CRM(M) 1474 of 2025.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the present petitioner was subsequently arrested after a considerable period of time.

However, from the submissions advanced, it seems that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years 9 months. Having regard to the period of detention of the present petitioner and on merits, the petitioner is similarly situated as other

accused persons who have been granted bail, I am of the view that the petitioner be granted bail on same terms and conditions as was imposed on other accused persons on 24.11.2025 in CRM(M) 2349 of 2025.

As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. The application for bail, being CRM (M) 2727 of 2025, is, thus, disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
