Petitioner is in custody for 37 days. He submits he has been falsely implicated in the instant case. He prays for bail. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. Under the leadership of petitioner forged deeds were submitted in order to support false claims in Krishak Bondhu Death Benefit Scheme. In view of nature of offence involving misappropriation of public funds and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
