Affidavit of service as filed, be kept on record. 2.

The petitioner is the son of a former Sweeper, engaged as such in the Chandrakona Vidyasagar Mahavidyalaya. 3.

The petitioner's father expired sometime in November 28, 2020, immediately whereupon, the petitioner applied through his mother for an appointment to the post on compassionate ground sometime in December, 2020. The application of the petitioner was also forwarded by the college to the respondent No.4 on April 12, 2023. 4.

The petitioner's grievance is that such application, inspite of being duly forwarded has not yet been considered. 5.

The respondent No.4 is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, as forwarded through the college within a period of four weeks from the

date of communication of this order to the State respondent by February 10, 2026. He will communicate his order to the petitioner as well as to the college authorities.

6. Needless to say that the respondent No.4 will decide the issue in accordance with law.

Since affidavits have not been called for, allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied.

8. With the aforestated direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

9. There shall be no order as to costs.
