1. The petitioners purchased the subject property under the SARFAESI Act after obtaining sale certificate from the bank.

2. The petitioners pray for recording the sale in the books maintained by the Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata. A representation to the above is pending consideration before the respondent authority.

3. Without entering into the merits of the prayer of the petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata being the respondent no. 3 herein to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 26th October, 2024, in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioners immediately thereafter.

4. Learned advocate for the petitioners shall forward all relevant documents in support of his prayer to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
