Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 3 years 9 months and out of 31 witnesses cited in the charge-sheet only 4 witnesses have been examined.

Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, submits that prosecution intends to examine 28 witnesses. The evidence of the 5th witness is in progress.

State is directed to conclude at least 10 more witnesses within the next four months. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties and the trial of the case would continue in spite of any resolution of the local bar. It is further directed that for each witnesses two dates would be fixed by the

learned trial court.

At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M)2741 of 2025 is rejected.

However, if in spite of the same there is no substantial progress, petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the period of four months is over.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
