Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. A joint inspection of a property was to be held by the KMC and the parties concerned on a particular day. The KMC authorities did not appear. But, hooligans came and disrupted the gathering and created obstructions. The next date fixed for such inspection is on 09.12.2023. The petitioner seeks police help in this regard for tomorrow's meeting.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report, which is taken on record and submits as follows. On the last date of inspection, it was the petitioner
who was absent. The KMC officers were very much there. For tomorrow's inspection, the police authorities can keep a close watch on the developments in the locality. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the private respondents submitted that they have not and will not create any disturbance at the time of joint inspection. Fortunately, the private respondents have submitted that they are not going to create any disturbance at the time of joint inspection.
Let the local police authorities keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place at the time of inspection of the property in question on 09.12.2023 at about 1 PM.
No further order need be passed in this regard. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
