For the State Re: CAN 1 of 2026 The applicant who is the 6th respondent in the writ petition seeks recalling of the order dated 13th January, 2026 solely on the ground that no opportunity of hearing was granted to him when the order was passed.

It appears from the affidavit of service that copy of the writ petition was not served upon the applicant. It is a fact that the applicant was not granted an opportunity of hearing when the order was passed.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that law demands that an opportunity of hearing be granted to the applicant/6th respondent before the writ petition is disposed of.

The order dated 13th January, 2026 is set aside/recalled.

Let the writ petition appear under the heading 'Motion' on 12th March, 2026.

In the meantime, the police authority is directed to keep vigil in the area and ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility.
