The present case was initiated on the basis of a matrimonial discord in respect of which Narendrapur P.S. Case No. 1213 of 2020 dated 08.12.2020 was registered for investigation under Section 498A/406/325/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In course of investigation, charge-sheet was submitted under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Having regard to the fact that, the lady in her statement and declaration has expressed her desire not to proceed with the present revisional application, I am of the

opinion that further continuance would result in harassment of the present petitioners.

Accordingly, all further proceedings of Narendrapur P.S. Case No. 1213 of 2020 dated 08.12.2020 under Section 498A/406/325/34 of the Indian Penal Code, wherein, charge-sheet was submitted under Section 498A of IPC, is hereby quashed.

With the aforesaid observation, CRR 4715 of 2022 along with CRAN 1 of 2023 is allowed.
