Learned advocate for the petitioner prays for bail as the petitioner is in custody for 150 days. According to the petitioner, case has already been committed and the two accused persons including the petitioner are in custody. As the case has already been committed, petitioner prays for bail on any stringent conditions.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the witnesses including the recovery.

Having regard to the stage of the case, I am of the view that it would be premature to release the petitioner at this stage. Petitioner after consideration of charges and after the evidence of one Ranjit Bhowmick will approach this Court. Learned trial court

is directed to pass necessary directions upon the learned public prosecutor for giving priority to the evidence of the said Ranjit Bhowmick.

At this stage, the prayer for bail in CRM(M) 2747 of 2025 is dismissed.
