Petitioner has approached this court with prayers amongst others for directing the police authorities and their men and agents and subordinate to take necessary steps to give police protection and/or police posting at the time of setup grill at the staircase gate, dokanghar for get up 1st floor being Plot No. 3359, Khatian No. 2859, Mouza, Sarisari, J.L. No. 97, situated at Mollahat More under Police Station - Shyampur, District - Howrah and further commanding to give police protection of the petitioner as per application dated 07.11.2024.

It has been pointed out by the learned advocate for the respondent nos. 5 to 7 that similar prayer was advanced in WPA 23462 of 2024. The same was considered by a coordinate bench vide order dated 03.10.2024. It was directed that the petitioner would be free to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

In view of the observations of the coordinate bench, the prayers advanced in the present writ petition do not call for any further interference. Petitioner would exhaust the remedies which have been granted in WPA 23462 of 2024.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 28900 of 2024 is disposed of.

State has not submitted a report as was directed in the order dated 30.06.2025. However, having regard to the prayers and the directions made above, I am of the view that the same need not be gone into while disposing of the present writ petition.
