Case No. 218 of 2018 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Purulia, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

It appears that the Misc. Case under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is pending since 2018. In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to take the proceedings to its logical conclusion within one (1) year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR No. 5145 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
