1. Mr. Paul, learned advocate for alleged contemnor by placing a computation sheet before this court would submit that on the basis of the computation, which is taken on record, a sum of Rs.79,800/- is due and payable to the petitioner for the petitioner's entitlement in terms of the order dated 21st April, 2023.

2. Accordingly, a cheque for the said sum is made over by Mr. Paul to Mr. Anuj Kumar Mishra, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, who acknowledges the same.

3. Mr. Balaram Patra, learned advocate on record for the petitioner is directed to issue a formal receipt acknowledging the receipt of the aforesaid cheque for

and on behalf of the petitioner towards the entitlement of the petitioner under Section 17B of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 as directed to be paid by the order dated 21st April, 2023.

4. Since the dues have already been cleared, though belatedly, nothing survives in the contempt application and the same is accordingly disposed of without any further orders. Let a copy of the cheque for a sum of Rs.79,800/- drawn on Indian Bank dated March 6, 2025 be retained with the records.
