Heard learned counsels for the parties.

Learned counsel for the State submits that though the State had conceded to the sitting demonstration at College Square facing Bankim Chatterjee Street, it was subsequently learnt that the place had already been allotted to other organisation.

In view of the above, change of the location is necessary. The petitioners shall organise the sitting demonstration in front of the Metro Car Shed at the City Centre-I, Salt Lake instead of College Square facing Bankim Chatterjee Street.

The order passed on 12th December, 2025 is modified to such limited extent.
