The case was initiated in the year 2022. The quantum of the cheque referred to herein is of Rs.5 lakh 75 thousand.

Ld. Trial court granted interim compensation under section 143A of the N.I. Act to the tune of 20% of the cheque amount.

The said quantum is Rs.1 lakh 15 thousand. The petitioner in two instalment will pay the sum of Rs.1 lakh 15 thousnand by 15th of May, 2024 before the ld. JM, 7th Court, Asansol in connection with Complaint Case No. 276 of 2020 under section 138 of the N.I. Act.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4732 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of.
