Supplementary affidavit filed in Court today be taken on record.
The petitioners file supplementary affidavit suggesting three alternative places for holding demonstration against the recruitment process in the Food Department.
Mr. Bandyopadhyay, Counsel appearing for the State, submits now that since some demonstrations at the foot of Gandhi Statue have dispersed and are likely to end tomorrow, the petitioners may commence their peaceful demonstration at the original Venue i.e. foot of Gandhi Statue itself from day after tomorrow. The petitioners undertake to clean up the place after the completion of the demonstration and shall not obstruct the traffic.
With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
