And In the matter of : Arup Kumar Ghosh ...... petitioner Ms. Sima Ghosh ....for the petitioner Mr. Aniket Mitra ....for the State Petitioner claims that petitioner leased out the factory to some other person.

There are serious charges of pilferage of electricity. An industrial unit was run at the place of occurrence. Complicity of the petitioner requires investigation.

Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 5493 of 2023 is disposed of.
