As it appears that the competent authority of the Howrah Zilla Parishad has already issued a stop work notice in favour of the respondent No.8, no further order need be passed by the Court, save and except that the competent authority of the Howrah Zilla Parishad shall take necessary steps as per law on the allegation made by the petitioner and reach the same to its logical conclusion upon affording an opportunity to all. If unauthorised construction is still going on, despite the stop work notice, measures shall be taken to ensure implementation of the stop work notice. The respondent No.8 shall be given

adequate opportunity at every stage from inspection to hearing and till final execution of the order that may be passed.

This court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
