We have considered materials on record. Allegations against the petitioner nos. 1 and 3 who are the mother-in-law and brother-in-law of the victim housewife are general and omnibus. Keeping in mind the extent of their complicity in the crime and the period of detention suffered by the them i.e. 117 days and as investigation is complete, we are inclined to grant bail to the petitioner nos. 1 and 3.

Accordingly, the petitioner nos. 1 and 3 viz. Saraswati Mondal and Raju @ Saptam Mondal be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Birbhum at Rampurhatra, on condition that the petitioner nos. 1 and 3 shall appear before the

trial court on every date of hearing and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever. In the event they fail to appear before the trial court without justifiable cause, the trial court shall be at liberty to cancel their bail automatically without reference to this court. The application being CRM (DB) 4608 of 2022 is disposed of.
