Mr. Syed Shamsul Arefin ..for the petitioner Mr. Arindam Chattopadhyay Ms. Lipika Chatterjee ..for the State Heard Mr. Arefin, learned advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Chattopadhyay, learned advocate for the State.

Mr. Arefin submits that in view of the interim order passed in this writ petition the petitioner was allowed to participate in the selection process initiated to fill up the post of Group-D staff in Illsora Surendranath High School in the district of Burdwan. He submits that the petitioner emerged as a successful candidate and he has been appointed in the said post. Presently, the petitioner has been discharging his duties in the said post without any blemish. He prays for disposal of the writ petition.

Mr. Chattopadhyay submits that the petitioner should have brought these subsequent facts by filing any application or supplementary affidavit. However, he leaves the matter to the discretion of this Court. Considering such chronological events and the subsequent facts, I am of the view that there is no requirement to proceed further with the writ petitioner. Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of without any further order.
