No. 29 CHC Rejected C.R.M.(A) 5507 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Thanarpara Police Station Case No. 181 of 2023 dated 02.09.2023 under Sections 341/325/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 subsequently added Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

And In the matter of : Tutul Mondal ...... petitioner Mr. Prabir Majumder, Mr. Snehansu Majumder ....for the petitioner Mr. Pravas Bhattacharyya, Mr. Arani Bhattacharya ....for the State Petitioner before us stands implicated in an incident of assault leading to the death of the victim. Police are investigating a case of murder.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 5507 of 2023 is disposed of.
