Learned advocate for the State respondents submits that in response to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, FIR no. 30/2024 dated 9th January, 2024 has been registered under Sections 420/406/120B of the IPC. The report filed by the Inspector-in-Charge, Gazole Police Station signed on 3rd March, 2024 mentions that investigation of the case is under progress.

The status or the stage of the investigation is not reflected in the report forwarded by the police. The police is directed to take prompt necessary steps in accordance with law to conclude the investigation at the earliest.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
