The petitioner has approached this court at a stage when the investigation of the case relating to Memari P.S. Case No. 820 of 2024 was in progress. The investigation of the said case commenced on or about 13.10.2024 and the chargesheet was submitted on or about 31.10.2024. The present writ petition was affirmed on or about 3rd December, 2024.

As such, the stage on which the petitioner approached this Court, the investigation was already concluded.

The petitioner submitted a complaint with the Superintendent of

Police, Purba Bardhaman. However, the same was not responded to. As such, the Superintendent of Police, who is the authorized officer, will communicate to the petitioner the outcome of the representation which was received by his/her office in the month of December, 2024.

A communication be sent to the petitioner preferably within a period of 10 weeks from date.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 29058 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Case Diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State.
