The petitioners are confirmed Assistant Teachers in two different primary schools under DPSC, Purba Bardhaman, they are praying mutual transfer. The joint representation of the petitioners dated November 6, 2024 forms part of the writ petition being Annexure-P/4.

The Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no.6 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation of the petitioners in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within six weeks from the date of communication of this order. In the event, it is found that the learning process of the students of the respective schools of the petitioners could not be affected, if the prayer of the petitioners is allowed, then the respondent no.6 shall take forward steps for mutual transfer of the petitioners.

WPA 29038 of 2024 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.

No affidavit since has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
