Ms. Pratiti Das ... for the State Respondents State has submitted a report which reflects that substantial steps have been taken by the Investigating Officer relating to the progress of the investigation of the case, relevant Sections under the POCSO Act has already been added, documents to that effect has already been collected.

The seizures of the electronic devices have already been sent to Cyber Forensics and Digital Examiners Laboratory. All the materials in connection with Swarupnagar Police Station case has been transmitted and the only case which is being investigated is Ashoknagar P.S Case No. 540/2024 dated 29.03.2024.

Having considered that the present case is also now under the POCSO Act I direct that if the records are still lying with any Magistrate within the jurisdiction of the Learned C.J.M, Barasat, the same may be transmitted with the learned Special Court under the POCSO Act of the said jurisdiction. Police authorities are taking steps and they are directed to take the investigation of this case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period. With the aforesaid observations WPA No.
