Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks a direction upon the concerned authority to consider their representation submitted before the authority on 23rd August, 2021.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that upon detection of 14 buses illegally plying in the route allotted to the petitioners, necessary steps have been taken by the authority and strict vigil has been observed by the authority to ensure that such buses do not ply in the said route. Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties this Court is inclined to hold that since the representation submitted by the petitioner is pending, the concerned authority may be directed to consider the representation and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners on 23rd

August, 2021 within six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioners, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
