The report of the Sub Inspector of Schools, Kolaghat-1 Circle, signed on 6th July, 2024 discloses that the petitioner is functioning as the Head Teacher of the subject school on and from 11th October, 2023.

Though the respondent no. 11 was transferred on promotion to a different school but the respondent no. 11 did not join there. He is still functioning as the Assistant Teacher of the school where the petitioner is functioning as the Head Teacher.

An altercation took place between the two teachers over which a complaint was lodged by the petitioner before the Officer-in-Charge, Kolaghat P.S. The police are yet to take any action in response to the same.

Learned advocate for the State respondents submits, upon instructions, that on receipt of the representation from the petitioner, the matter was

inquired and after inquiry the police submitted two prosecution reports under Section 107 CrPC.

The police are directed to ensure that no breach of peace takes place at the locale and the functioning of the petitioner as Head Teacher of the school is not interfered with by the private respondent no. 11 in any manner whatsoever.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
