1. There are 9 other criminal cases as against the petitioner.

2. Petitioner apparently is a part of an inter-State gang involved in dacoity and robbery.

3. Court is informed that, petitioner is involved on all such 9 police cases.

4. A person was murdered.

5. Apparently, the charge as against the petitioner in the charge sheet filed by the police is that petitioner received the stolen goods.

6. We are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the following reasons:- i) 9 criminal antecedents involving similar crimes are pending as against the petitioner;

ii) Period of detention of the petitioner;

iii) The nature and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident;

iv) He is a resident of another State with a possibility of absconsion.

7. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

8. CRM(DB) 4166 of 2024 is dismissed.
