For the Petitioner Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of G.R. case no. 4667 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Baruipur, South 24 Parganas, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. It appears that cognizance of charge-sheet was taken by the learned Magistrate on 19th November, 2022.

The case has not proceeded much since then.

In view of the above, learned trial Court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law. C.R.R. 5162 of 2024 is disposed of.
