1. In terms of order dated 8th May, 2026 contempt application is taken up for consideration when learned advocates representing applicants and alleged contemnor have jointly submitted that order passed by this Court on 4th March, 2024 is complied with.

2. Mr. Biswajit Mukherjee, learned advocate representing alleged contemnor has submitted writing dated 14th May, 2026 of Executive Engineer (C) Building Department, Borough-I, KMC and same is taken on record.

3. Hence, Contempt application is disposed of and contempt proceeding stands dropped.

4. However, this order shall not preclude the concerned authority of Kolkata Municipal

Corporation to fasten responsibility on the person responsible for accumulation of debris for recovery of cost which Corporation had to incur for removing debris.
