Seeking a direction upon the respondents to recast the panel prepared for the post of Auxiliary Nurse-cumMidwife of Shalmara Sub-health Centre under Nazirhat No.2 Gram Panchayat within Dinhata-I Panchayat Samity, Cooch Behar by deleting the name of the respondent no.7 from the panel, this writ petition was preferred. Panel was prepared in 2008. It is obvious that with the passage of time the panel has expired. I am of the considered view that the writ petition has become infructuous.

In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied as expeditiously as possible. (Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, J.)
