The petitioner herein has assailed order dated 11.06.2014 passed by Learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Siliguri, Darjeeling in G.R. Case No.364 of 2013 whereby charge has been framed against the petitioner under Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. Perused the application for revision and the impugned order. Heard learned Advocate for State. I find that Learned Magistrate was satisfied that there was sufficient materials to presume that the accused person has committed the offence punishable under Section 7 (1)(a)(ii) of the E.C. Act. There appears to be no illegality in the order passed by Learned Magistrate, thus it calls for no interference. The revisional application is dismissed.
