The petitioners aggrieved by a summons issued by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Burdwan in Dewandighi Police Station Case No. 144 of 2022 dated July 20 of 2022.

The private respondent/wife has complained under Section 200 of Code of Criminal Procedure before the A.C.J.M., Burdwan that the petitioners/her husband and in-laws have forged her signature and sold the property standing in her name. Summons have been issued under Sections 341/323/325/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The Court is of the view that the petitioners have effective alternative remedy under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

W.P.A. 28898 of 2022 is, accordingly, disposed of, without any other orders.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance with all the necessary formalities.
