AGP Mr. Sougata Mitra ... for the State-respondent(s) The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the petitioner in spite of being the owner of the property is unable to enjoy his peaceful possession and/or construct the building in his own land because of interference and/or obstruction created by the private respondents.

An information, to that effect, was furnished before the Officer-in-charge of Pursurah Police Station. However, there has hardly been any response by the concerned police station.

Having regard to the nature of the dispute complained of, it would be the

jurisdictional civil court and/or the appropriate land authorities to decide regarding demarcation of the property and/or in respect of right, title, interest, usages of the property concerned. The police authorities would interfere only if the aforesaid authorities or the civil court passes any direction.

However, the petitioner, if so advised, would approach the learned civil court for appropriate remedies.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28891 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
