Mr. Anit Dey Ms. Ritoma Sarkar ....for the petitioners The grievance of the petitioners is directed against an illegal and unauthorised construction. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have been unable to effect service and the matter be adjourned till the Monthly List of January, 2024. The writ petition was filed as far back as on 29th November, 2023. It is a strange that the petitioner has not effected service for more than one year. This also demonstrates lack of diligence and any seriousness on behalf of the petitioner to proceed with the matter.

In view of the above, WPA 27849 of 2023 stands dismissed.
