It is frankly pointed out by the learned Public Prosecutor that the dispute relates exclusively civil in nature. In compliance of the order dated 5th January, 2023, the Investigating Officer has submitted a report stating, inter alia, that the dispute between the parties have been amicably settled. Deed of convenience has been executed in favour of the opposite party in respect of disputed flat.

The opposite parties have no objection if the instant matter be quashed on settlement.

In view of such circumstances, joint application for amicable settlement is accepted and G.R. Case No.3891 of 2020 under Sections 406/420/465/34 of the Indian Penal Code pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate at Howrah be quashed. The report be kept with the record.
