A report has been filed by the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Uluberia II signed on 28.04.2023 which mentions that a field enquiry was conducted in the presence of the representative of the Uluberia Municipality, the petitioner and the private respondent no. 8 and others. Upon inspection it revealed that there is no encroachment of the public road.

The report of the Municipality is also on the same line that there is no encroachment of public road. As it appears that the petitioner complains of encroachment and there is a report from the BL&LRO that there is no encroachment of public road, accordingly, the allegation of the petitioner remains unsubstantiated. It will be open for the petitioner to approach the

appropriate forum in the event any private land of the petitioner has been encroached upon by the private respondents.

Copy of the report filed by the BL&LRO, Uluberia II dated 28th April, 2023 has been handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
