The grievance of the petitioners is directed against the failure of the respondent authorities to consider the application of the petitioners for a housing scheme. This writ petition was filed in 2017 and it is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that during the pendency of the writ petition there has been a change in the policy of the respondent authorities in respect of the concerned housing scheme. The petitioners submit that all they are seeking at this stage is that the concerned respondents consider the application of the petitioners and decide whether the petitioner has any

right in respect of the concerned Integrated Housing Scheme 2016.

The respondent No. 3 is directed to take appropriate steps within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of the copy of this order and forward the said application to the concerned Block Development Officer to decide whether the petitioners has any right or not in respect of the concerned housing scheme. The Block Development Officer is directed to communicate the result of the said application to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of taking such decision. With the aforesaid directions, W.P.A. 30335 of 2017 is disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
