1. Pursuant to our earlier direction, the SI Ummey Salma, Missing Persons Bureau Criminal Investigation Department, West Bengal, has filed a report wherefrom the victim girl has been recovered from the custody of Lalon Sk and the accused has been arrested on 23rd April, 2024.

2. The victim has been produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), South 24-Parganas and is presently staying at Sanlaap Correctional Home.

3. It is submitted on behalf of the State respondents that the statement of the victim has been recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

4. In view of recovery of the victim, there is no requirement to pass any further order. The writ petition has been disposed of.

5. The status report filed by the CID in Court today is taken on record.

6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
