Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondents.

This Court does not find any irregularity in the direction of the District Panchayats and Rural Development Officer, Murshidabad by asking the Block Development Officer, Bharatpur-I Development Block to submit the calculation of the net amount payable to the petitioner as arrear remuneration with effect from August 7, 2019. Such order has been passed in consonance with the order of the Joint Secretary to the Government of West Bengal dated August 7, 2019. The Joint Secretary, Government of West Bengal approved the applicability of the Finance Department's Memo Nos.9008-F(P) dated 16.09.2011 read with F.D. Memo. No.4011-F(P) dated 20.05.2013 and NO.1107-F(P) dated 25.02.2016. In case of the petitioner, the date of effect of such memoranda was the date of the order, that is, August 7, 2019. Thus, the authority found that the

petitioner would be entitled to the benefits of all those memoranda on and from August 7, 2019.

Accordingly, the Block Development Officer, Bharatpur-I Block is directed to calculate the arrear payment required to be made to the petitioner in terms of the said order of the Joint Secretary of the Government of West Bengal and send such communication to the District Panchayats and Rural Development Officers, Murshidabad within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order. Once such calculation is received and found to be correct, the amount shall be released by the DPRDO and the disbursement shall be made within a further period of four weeks from receipt of the calculation.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
