The petitioner seeks an electricity connection in respect of premises no. 61/H/11, Mahesh Barick Lane, Kolkata-700 011.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation Limited (CESC) submits that the petitioner was already informed, by a letter dated October 27, 2024, to furnish the following documents:

"- A certified site plan.

- Deeds / Partition deeds.

- Municipal tax receipt.

- Ownership documents."

It is submitted that the electricity connection may be granted to the petitioner upon production of the aforementioned documents.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty granted to the petitioner to submit the requisite documents, as specified in the letter dated October 27, 2024, within a period of two weeks from the date of this order.

If the petitioner submits the said documents, the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation Limited shall provide the electricity connection, subject to compliance with all other applicable formalities.

With these directions, W.P.A. 29099 of 2024 is disposed of.
