The writ petitioners in terms of the order dated 13th March, 2024 have filed their respective claim applications for non-payment of wages which according to the writ petitioners are before the appropriate authority which is, however, disputed by the respondents. A supplementary affidavit affirmed on 28th March, 2024 to place on record the claim forms filed by the petitioners is filed in Court and taken on record. Be that as it may, since such claim has been made before an authority, it is for the said authority to adjudicate upon its own jurisdiction. If the authority before whom the writ petitioners have applied finds himself to be the appropriate authority then the claim of the writ petitioners shall be considered on merit as

expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of six months from the date of service of a server copy of this order.

All parties to act on a server copy of this order including the authority before whom the petitioners have lodged their claim without insisting upon production of the certified copy therefrom.

Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition. The same is accordingly disposed of. Since I have not called for affidavit, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents. The writ petition along with the pending application being CAN No.1 of 2024 is also disposed of. (Arindam Mukherjee, J.)
