Having regard to the purpose for which the petitioner has approached this court and the police authorities having taken effective steps for recovery of the victim girl, I am of the view that the purpose for which the writ petition has

been preferred has been subserved.

However, the police authorities are directed to take the investigation to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 29175 of 2024 is disposed of.
