Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to grant transfer from the district of Dakshin Dinajpur to the district of Murshidabad upon consideration of his representation dated 17th November, 2025.

The petitioner contends that he is an Assistant Teacher of Fulhara F.P. School, P.O. Sarada, District-Howrah. The petitioner joined in the said school on 28th July, 2021. The service of the petitioner has been confirmed on 28th July, 2023. The wife petitioner is suffering from severe gynaecological disorder. The petitioner has to travel more than 231 kms. (up and down) to attend his school. On 17th November, 2025, the petitioner made a
representation before the appropriate authority seeking transfer, however, the same is still pending consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

Mr. Santanu Maji, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the matter may be relegated to the appropriate authority for considering the representation of the petitioner 17th November, 2025. 5.
Learned Advocates for the respondents leave the matter to the discretion of the Court.

It is found that the petitioner has not annexed the representation made before the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

Accordingly, the petitioner is granted liberty to make a comprehensive representation before the respondent No.5, Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education within a period of three weeks from date. Upon receipt of such representation, the respondent No.5, Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education shall consider such representation and dispose of the same, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order upon notice to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.

The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week from the date of passing of such order.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to respondent No.5, Secretary,
West Bengal Board of Primary Education, for necessary compliance.
10. With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 29095 of 2025 stands disposed of.
11. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.
12. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
13. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.
14. There shall be no order as to costs.
15. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
16. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
