1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record.

2. Despite service, none appears for the Bank, although the petitioner and the Union of India are represented through counsel.

3. In view of the innocuous nature of the prayer, further service is not directed.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's application/representation for education loan has not been considered by the Bank till date.

5. Accordingly, W.P.A. No. 28053 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent-Bank to dispose of the petitioner's application for education

loan, if necessary by giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a fortnight from the date of communication of this order to the Bank.

6. Immediately thereafter, the Bank shall communicate the outcome of such decision to the petitioner.

7. If aggrieved thereby, the petitioner will be at liberty to challenge the same by way of a fresh writ petition.

8. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order for the purpose of compliance.

9. There will be no order as to costs.

10. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
