Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and State respondents.

In the writ petition it is alleged that there was inaction on the part of the authorities of Suti Police Station, Jangipur police district in taking steps based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner. 3.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed one communication dated 1st January, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Suti Police Station, Jangipur and same is taken on record. 4.

It is stated in the communication that no written complaint, FIR or General Diary entry relating to allegation as stated in the writ petition was received from the petitioner.

On posing query to the learned advocate representing the petitioner whether any complaint was lodged with the police authority notice of his

Court has been drawn to paragraph 8 of this writ petition wherein it is averred that petitioner tried to lodge complaint but same was not entertained. 6.

If Court proceeds on the premise that petitioner could not lodge compliant with the concerned police authorities he could have sent a letter by post to the concerned police authorities alleging commission of offence.

In absence of complaint being lodged with the concerned police station, this Court does not find fault with the police authorities in taking steps. 8.

Hence, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. 9.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
