The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat has already directed the police authorities to submit a report. The next date has been fixed by the learned Magistrate on 30th December, 2024.

In view of the fact that learned Magistrate is in seisin of the issues which have been canvassed in the writ petition, I am not inclined to interfere with the prayers advanced herein. However, the learned Magistrate would in is wisdom, shall pass appropriate orders in the application under Section 175(3) of the BNSS.

Accordingly, WPA 29303 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report has been handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.
