1. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits he is in custody for 126 days. It is also submitted he has been falsely implicated in the instant case. Co-accused are on bail. He prays for bail.

2. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

3. We have considered the statements of the witnesses. Petitioner and others had chased the victim. Thereafter he was shot dead. In view of the role played by the petitioner in the crime, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

4. The application for bail is, thus, rejected. .
